I find it bizarre how contemporary these images are starting to look to me since I've been so immersed in the world of stockings. Also, I would love to have Bettie Page dress me and afterward, I would do this silly little dance and make happy faces with her.

ReplyDeleteI hired a Betty Page dvd last week. The guy at the counter said how popular it had been recently and I had to break it him that it was probably due to her passing. The condition was terrible and it was so odd to watch a grown woman in her underwear cavorting in front of the camera just the same way little girls do for their fond parents to film. However I loved her shoes and one pair in particular was just SO high it was no wonder she did that scene on her butt.
