Plus-size Pinup in Stockings

I've been on a quest to find sexy, artistic photographs of plus-sized women in stockings since I first started this blog and it is ridiculously difficult to find great photos. It's even harder to find shots of extra-curvy pinup girls. This shot of model Hanna Oxford that I ran across on Tumblr is awesome. I've been curious about wet nylon for a while, so the photo plays on my own desire to get into the tub (even though she's wearing fishnets) and I just love her outfit, down to her tiara.

It's a great, fun, sassy, relaxed pose, though I can't help but notice she's doing the smart thing and keeping those pretty boots out of the water.

This image is so beautiful it actually made me gasp when I first saw it on one of my new favorite Tumblr blogs, Negrita Bonita. It comes originally from Maverick Photography and there are just some gorgeous photos worth perusing over at that site, period.

French Maid Pinup: Dahlia Delis

French maids are sexy and Ms. Delis makes quite the impish little petticoated member of the household staff. This brings to an end our wonderful 24 hour parade of photos I have to share with all of you and I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of Dahlia's work and have made a visit or two to her site. Wow, where to start with this photo of Dahlia in her Rago Lacette Girdle? Perhaps with the pile of bodies accumulating over there as people pass out in sheer astonishment at her sexiness? Perhaps with the mystery of what may or may not cover her lady parts under her girdle? I love the nod to Bettie Page, but Dahlia keeps the energy her own and her thighs are a lethal weapon.

Today is my dear friend stockingmonster's birthday and I doubt there's anyone on earth who would appreciate this photo more than him, so I dedicate this post to you, SM and wish you the happiest of happy days. Pinups on Twitter: Dahlia Delis

Pinups use Twitter, too; in fact, as a group, they are fairly tweet-happy, and I suspect as my readers become more aware of the site as a tool to connect with beautiful women in nylon, more of them may consider joining. Last week, a few amusing messages from LA pinup model Dahlia Delis caught my eye and lead me to investigate her personal website (which is for grown ups and not safe for work unless you work somewhere super-awesome).

She's funny, she's beautiful and she looks stunningly sexy in stockings and vintage lingerie. It seemed like a no-brainer to write to her and ask if she would share some photos with the readers of Stocking Vixen and she has very generously given some to post here, the first of which appears above. I love the feathers in this one, in particular, and the way the black of her hair plays with the black of her stocking tops and shoes. This is a first for Stocking Vixen in that I don't generally post any nudity on this site, but this is a highly tasteful, beautiful photograph and I couldn't resist.

One advantage to having your own blog is that you can declare your own random holidays, so I declare today Dahlia Delis Day and will be posting photos of Dahlia throughout the day from the selection she gave me. Please do stop by her website. She has photos of a far more grown-up nature than I am able to post here and fans of the damsel-in-distress and smoking fetishes will find much to admire.

Black latex stockings, black high heels, black latex gloves, black latex dress, the beautiful Dante Posh wearing them all... I love the way she makes the latex look so completely sexy, while at the same time like normal, everyday clothing. Whether it's because she's so comfortable in her own beauty, or because I've grown so used to looking at these images, I don't know, but I do know my lust for latex is growing.

Sexiest Boots on Earth?

Are these black thigh boots the sexiest boots on Earth? I'll let you decide, but I think they're a strong contender. I know I'm getting a melty feeling in my upper thighs just looking at them and that I'm considering that career in bank robbery again. The stiletto heel is exquisite, and the way the toe tapers just accentuates the spike. These boots also fit the model perfectly, which is part of what makes them so hot. There's no bunching at the back of the heel, or gapping at the top of the thigh. Perfect tailoring is sexy, no matter the garment.

I had to crop this photo because the rest of it included a completely nude Russian chick with a smoking bod and a machine gun. I can't publish the image on this blog, but I can say the words, "nude Russian," so I AM.

Joi Lansing

A Stocking Vixen reader sent me the link for the YouTube video above which brought the very sexy and legtacular actress and singer Joi Lansing to my attention.

Even though she appeared in Easter Parade with Judy Garland, Orson Welles's Touch of Evil, I Love Lucy, and The Beverly Hillbillies, all films and televisions shows I've seen, I'd never heard of her, possibly because it seems more of her high-profile work was on television shows like Love that Bob that weren't still in syndication when I was was a little girl. She also, sadly, died of breast cancer at the very young age of 44, and stopped working in about 1970.


I'm very glad for places like YouTube where people can still discover performers they haven't seen before or I would never have heard her wonderful singing or enjoyed the happy burlesque sexiness of the Silencer video. I wonder if the backup dancers had pruney fingers and toes by the end of that shoot, though.

Sexy, Super-Extra HOT Photos of Women in Stockings

Okay, the title of this blog post isn't the most creative in the world, but my brain is pure mush, having spent the last hour or so perusing COED magazine's 49 Sexy Stocking Stunners.

As they put it:

There’s just something about how this ingenious garment looks on the legs that can make a man lose his damn mind. So to push you one step closer to the loony bin, we’ve put together this tribute to stockings that’s so hot, you might have to take a break to get all the way through.

I thought that being a straight woman, I didn't have to take a break, but apparently these photos are SO HOT that they can also damage the brain function of a female stocking junkie. There's a bit more airbrushing than I care for in some of the shots, but many are just incredibly sexy and I highly recommend hoofing it over to take a look at this collection. Not only are there 49 sexy women in stockings in the article, but each photo links back to a separate gallery (many with somewhat NSFW images or ads, so be forewarned) with many more images of these models often from the same photoshoot. So, I probably just spent the last hour looking at something like 250 photos of incredibly gorgeous women in spectacular hosiery. The things I do for all of you, it's amazing I'm still alive, quite frankly.

Stockings, Suspenders and Girdles, Oh My!

Here's a brief fashion show of stockings, suspenders and girdles by What Katie Did a London lingerie company built literally from the ground up on stockings by lingerie designer Katie Halford. In 1999 when she couldn't find seamed stockings at a non-ridiculous price, she ordered a bunch of stockings wholesale and sold them herself on a website. I have to admit, I really like her style.


Today, the company makes a full line of vintage-style hosiery, lingerie and corsets adapted for the modern woman from vintage patterns. Delicious is really the only word I can think of to adequately describe her collections. This fashion show is fun, though low on production values, and I love the way Girl #3 shakes it!

Off Petting My Legs

After a fun-filled weekend with my best friend, who was visiting from Los Angeles, I am a rather tired vixen. I am even too tired to write about the arrival of my package from Stocking's HQ, which contained three pairs of stockings. I'm sitting here in my favorite of the three, which are also the simplest, the Aristoc Ultra Sheer 5 denier nylon hold-ups, and I can't stop petting my legs. Izabel Goulart in Black Stockings - Victoria's Secret

Izabel Goulart declares black stockings, "sexy" and not just for special occasions. I couldn't agree more. I also love the red thigh highs she's sporting in the photo below. I love how they look like a cross between a trouser sock and a stocking. I'd love to get my mitts on a pair in white. Also, HOLY COW, does she ever have an amazing heiny (not much gets past me). Notice the tights and suede boots on the photographer to her right, also, very cute.
