beautiful woman in her raincoat, leggings and nude heels from The Satorialist has changed my mind. She has actually managed to make leggings, the dreaded stretch pant, look elegant. The extremely high heel lengthens her leg and the fact that the shoe is so close to her skin tone helps mitigate any sense of choppiness at the ankle. This is one of my favorite outfits I've seen for a long time and if I could replicate it completely, I would.

Amazing that you should post this, because my neck is still sore from doing a Linda Blair-type double-take today on Summer Street, in an attempt to get a longer look at a girl wearing leggings and ballet flats...great minds do think alike.
ReplyDeleteYou know, on the day I was shopping and bought my ballet flats, I picked up and put down several styles of black leggings in the hosiery department at Macy's. I chickened out at the last minute. Maybe it was a mistake...
