Congratulations to Solanah and Sam who got married yesterday. Solanah writes a wonderful photo-stuffed blog on vintage clothing called Vixen Vintage that's one of my favorite regular reads.

Does Sam look like he's thrilled to kiss her or what? Adorable. Good luck, you two!

The Shape of Your Legs

Dylan is an independent musician and cartographer from France, influenced by artists as diverse as The Kinks, Lucinda Williams and Beck. He is also a very gifted songwriter and guitar player. He posted his song The Shape of Your Legs online at iCompositions.com (which is a massive resource for free music from independent musicians from all around the globe)in November of 2008, and I have loved its simple beauty since I first heard it. This song is an acoustic guitar instrumental, but he plays styles all over the map. He has a rocker with lyrics by Debaser Jones, Six Feet of Trouble, with this great chorus:

Since discovering iCompositions and other sites where indy musicians give their music away, I've bought fewer commercials mp3's over the years. The database is truly a goldmine in every genre of music you could imagine and, free of commercial concerns, people have come up with some really innovative and interesting things.

Hottest Kiss Photo Ever

This is off-topic somewhat, but I think people who read my blog will enjoy Le Love, a photoblog "dedicated to romantic, sweet, lovey-dovey, sexy and heart fluttering images". It's simply a parade of passionate photos, most showing two lovers embracing in some way, many documenting heartbreak, some celebrating glamour. It is tangentially related to hosiery in that many of the photos do show women in pantyhose or stockings, so there is some eye candy on view, but I love so much going over to that blog just to get a little dose of swooniness when I need some. I find the photo above just incredibly sexy. I'm a huge fan of kissing and those two look as though they could kiss forever.
